Having an active CodeScene On-prem license is necessary to be able to analyze your code and get all insights. Here are two important parts that you should do when starting using CodeScene:
Activate a license
After CodeScene starts, you should see the welcome page:
In the section 'Activate an existing license key', choose the 'Enter license key' option and enter the license credentials, your CodeScene username, and license key as a password.
Note that you should receive your CodeScene username and license key through email after creating the account.
Create an admin account
After activating your license, you will be logged in, and forwarded to the following page:
In the main menu, click on Configuration to access the global configuration. After doing so, select the Users/Authentication option, and in the Add New User part, choose the User Name and Password that you want to use for an Admin account:
After a new user is added, he will appear under All Users, where you have to set his role to 'Admin':
After doing all the steps, you now have an active license, and admin account created. You should use these credentials to log in.
