How to invite members to your organization?

    Prerequisites:

The users you want to add to your CodeScene account must be proper members of the git provider “group account” (GitHub organization, Bitbucket workspace, etc.).

    • If GitHub collaborators cannot be added as CodeScene org members - in that case, use the collaborators feature.
    • If you invited a new member to your git provider’s account but you still cannot see them in the list of available members then check whether they already accepted your invitation.
    1. Once you have an organizational account you can go to the Configuration section via the main menu to see the current members of your organization:

    2. Then you can invite other CodeScene users to give them shared access to your CodeScene analyses. This screen also allows you to see whom you have already invited and revoke that invitation by unchecking the checkbox next to their names:

    3. Once an invited user clicks on the link provided in the second step of the invitation wizard and logs in, he will be automatically granted access to the given organization and switched to the organizational account. He will also be informed that they can switch between accounts in the My Account menu:

Members can be invited as “admins” or “members”:

    • Members can view existing analysis results as well as run new analyses. They can’t update project configurations.
    • Admins can create new projects, update project configurations, delete existing projects, and invite other organization members.
    • Any admin (not just the owner) can invite other members to keep the operational costs low by distributing the responsibilities to a group of people.
